This year, Roche employees in Thailand collectively raised THB 500,000 through Children’s Walk fundraising activities, and the company fully matched the amount with an additional THB 500,000, bringing the total contribution to THB 1,000,000.
Of this amount, THB 500,000 will support the Yuvabadhana Foundation’s Food For Good project and education sponsorship programmes, benefiting five schools across Thailand by helping improve children’s access to nutritious meals and creating stronger foundations for healthy development and learning. The remaining THB 500,000 will be allocated through the Roche Employee Action and Charity Trust (Re&Act) to support projects for children, extending Roche’s contribution to broader communities in Thailand and beyond.

At Roche, every child deserves the chance to unlock their potential and build a brighter future. Through the legally independent charity Re&Act, Roche partners with trusted non-governmental organisations to support local initiatives that empower communities and create lasting change for children around the world, including Child’s Dream, UNICEF, and the Federer Foundation.
In Thailand, colleagues across Pharma and Diagnostics contributed to this year’s fundraising through a variety of employee-led activities—from organising an on-site marketplace with fun games to hosting online auctions supported by their own contributions—demonstrating the creativity, compassion and team spirit that define Roche’s culture.

For Roche Thailand, the impact of Children’s Walk goes beyond fundraising. As part of last year’s campaign, Kultida Leenabanchong, Head of Communications, Roche Thailand, was selected as one of only nine Roche Children’s Walk Ambassadors worldwide. At the beginning of this year, she visited a UNICEF-supported school in remote Southern Leyte, the Philippines, witnessing firsthand how Children’s Walk contributions reach children in hard-to-reach communities. The journey involved multiple stages of travel, including last-minute flight changes due to storm-affected conditions and difficult overland travel on rough roads, underscoring the challenges of reaching remote areas.

“Seeing firsthand how our collective efforts reach children in remote communities in the Philippines was deeply meaningful and made me even prouder of what we can achieve together at Roche,” Kultida said.

Beyond fundraising, it is a powerful tradition of unity and compassion. Seeing our collective efforts turn into real, positive change for children makes me deeply proud to be part of a company that leads with genuine heart,” said Sarika Khuranasiri, Procurement and Administration Lead, Roche Diagnostics Thailand.
By combining employee passion, company support and trusted partnerships, Roche Thailand continues to demonstrate how collective action can help create healthier futures and new possibilities for children in Thailand and beyond.
